    If you are driving, start from the city of Cluj-Napoca. Head southwest on DN1 towards Turda. After about 30 km, take the exit toward DN75 in the direction of Campeni. Continue on DN75 for approximately 50 km until you reach the town of Gârda de Sus. Follow the signs to Ionele's Door Cave (Pestera Poarta lui Ionele) which is located at Gârda de Sus 517310. There is parking available near the cave entrance. Note that a small fee may be required for parking.

    Public Transportation

    To reach Ionele's Door Cave using public transport, first travel to Cluj-Napoca. From Cluj-Napoca, take a bus to Campeni. The bus ride takes approximately 2-3 hours. Once you arrive in Campeni, you can take a local taxi to Gârda de Sus. Inform the driver that you are headed to Ionele's Door Cave, as they are familiar with the location.
