Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Timișoara, which is one of the main cities in the Banat region. Take DN6 towards Lugoj, and then continue to Făget. From Făget, turn onto DJ682 towards Pietroasa. Follow the signs to Pietroasa and once you reach the village, look for the coordinates RCG7+PX9. The cave is located a short distance from the village center. Parking is available nearby, but be aware that there may be a small fee for parking.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a train from Timișoara to Lugoj. From Lugoj, you can catch a local bus heading towards Făget. Make sure to ask the bus driver to drop you off at Făget. From Făget, you will need to arrange for a taxi or use a ride-sharing service to reach Pietroasa, as public transport does not go directly to the village. The taxi ride from Făget to Pietroasa should not cost more than 50 RON. Once in Pietroasa, the cave is a short walk from the village center at the coordinates RCG7+PX9.
Walking
If you're already in Pietroasa, you can reach Peștera 'Albastră' by walking from the village center. Head towards the coordinates RCG7+PX9. The cave is located just a few hundred meters away, and there are signs in the village directing you to it. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes, as the path may be uneven in some areas.
