Car
If you're traveling by car, start your journey in Timișoara, the largest city in Banat. Head southeast on DN6 (E70) towards the town of Lugoj. After reaching Lugoj, continue on DN68A towards Deva. When you approach the village of Ghioroc, look for the signs directing you to Pivnițele Birauas at Ghioroc 31c. The winery is located just off the main road and is well-marked. Parking is available onsite.
Public Transportation
To reach Pivnițele Birauas using public transport, take a train from Timișoara to Lugoj. The train journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once in Lugoj, transfer to a local bus heading towards Ghioroc. Buses run regularly, but it's advisable to check the local schedule for the most accurate times. After arriving in Ghioroc, it will be a short walk to Pivnițele Birauas located at Ghioroc 31c. Depending on the time of day, be prepared for a wait between connections.
Taxi Ride
If you're looking for a more direct route without the hassle of public transport schedules, consider taking a taxi from Timișoara to Pivnițele Birauas. The taxi ride will take approximately 45 minutes and cost around 100-150 RON (about 20-30 euro), depending on the traffic and time of day.
