Car
Starting from Bistrița, head southwest on DN17 towards Năsăud. Continue on DN17 for approximately 15 km. Look for the exit towards DJ173A, signposted for Grădinița. Merge onto DJ173A and follow the road as it winds through the countryside. After about 10 km, you will reach the parking area for Waterfall Grizzlișor. Ensure to park responsibly as space can be limited.
Public Transportation
From the center of Bistrița, take a local bus towards Năsăud (check local schedules as they may vary). Get off at the Năsăud bus station. From there, you may need to take a taxi or arrange for a ride to DJ173A, which is about 10 km away. If you prefer, you can also check for regional buses that might take you closer to the waterfall area, although schedules may be less frequent.
Walking
If you are already near DJ173A and prefer to hike, you can walk to the waterfall from the parking area. Follow the marked trails that lead from the parking lot. The walk should take around 30-45 minutes depending on your pace, and will provide beautiful views of the surrounding nature.

If you are in Bistrița and prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi directly to the waterfall. Make sure to confirm the fare beforehand, as it can vary.
