Car
If you are traveling by car, head northwest from your location on the Black Sea Coast towards the city of Brașov. The most direct route is to take the A2 highway towards Bucharest and then merge onto the A3 highway towards Brașov. After approximately 2.5 to 3 hours, you will reach Brașov. From there, follow the signs to Bran, which is about 30 minutes away. You will take the DN73 road from Brașov to Bran. Once you arrive in Bran, follow the signs to Strada General Traian Moșoiu 24, where Bran Castle is located. Parking is available near the castle, but it may incur a small fee.
Public Transportation
To reach Bran Castle via public transportation, first, take a train from your nearest station to Brașov. The journey typically takes around 2.5 to 3 hours. Once you arrive in Brașov, head to the bus station located near the train station. Look for a bus heading towards Bran; these buses run frequently and take about 30 minutes. The bus will drop you off near the castle. From the bus stop, follow the signs to Strada General Traian Moșoiu 24. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as return trips may vary throughout the day.
