Car
If you're driving from the center of Brașov, head south on Bulevardul Eroilor towards Strada Republicii. Continue straight onto Strada 1 Decembrie 1918 and follow the signs for DN11 towards Târgu Secuiesc. After about 20 kilometers, you'll see signs for Racoș. Turn right onto the road leading to Racoș village, and follow the signs to Vulcanul Racoș. The volcano is located just outside the village, and there’s a parking area available.
Public Transportation
To reach Vulcanul Racoș by public transport, start at the Brașov train station. Take a train towards Târgu Secuiesc. Once you arrive at the Târgu Secuiesc station, you can take a local bus or a taxi to Racoș village. The bus stop is usually located just outside the train station. After arriving in Racoș, follow the signs to Vulcanul Racoș, which is a short walk from the village center.
