Car

Start from Poiana Brașov, head southwest on DN1E towards Brașov. Continue on this road for approximately 12 kilometers until you reach the city of Brașov. Follow the signs for Tâmpa Mountain. Once in Brașov, take the road leading to Muntele Tâmpa. There is a parking area near the base of the mountain (note: parking fees may apply, typically around 10 RON for a day). From the parking area, you can either hike up the marked trails or take the cable car (cable car tickets are approximately 30 RON for a round trip).

From Poiana Brașov, you can take a bus to Brașov. The bus station is located near the main hotels in Poiana Brașov. The bus ride to Brașov takes about 30 minutes and costs around 10 RON. Once you arrive at the Brașov bus station, you can take a taxi or walk towards the Tâmpa Mountain area. If you choose to walk, it will take about 20-30 minutes to reach the base of the mountain. From there, you can hike up or use the cable car (tickets cost approximately 30 RON for a round trip).
