Car

If you are driving to Cheia Monastery from the popular tourist area of Sinaia, start by heading south on DN1 towards Ploiești. After approximately 17 km, turn right onto DN1A towards Cheia. Continue on DN1A for about 25 km until you reach the village of Cheia. Look for the signs directing you to Cheia Monastery, which will be located on your left at the address Cheia 107356. There is parking available near the monastery.

Public Transportation

To reach Cheia Monastery using public transportation, you can take a train from Bucharest to Sinaia. Once in Sinaia, transfer to a bus heading towards Cheia, which you can find at the local bus station. The bus journey will take approximately 40 minutes. Disembark at the Cheia stop and walk about 10 minutes to reach Cheia Monastery, following the signs that will lead you to the monastery located at Cheia 107356.

Car

If you are coming from Brașov, take the DN1E road towards Predeal. Continue on this route until you reach the junction with DN1A. Turn left onto DN1A and follow the road for about 30 km until you arrive in Cheia. Look for signs to Cheia Monastery, which will be on your left. There is parking available nearby.

Public Transportation

From Brașov, you can take a bus to Cheia. Buses leave from the main bus station and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Cheia, follow the village signs towards Cheia Monastery, which is roughly a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.
