Car

If you are driving to Valea Urlătorii from Bucharest, take the A3 highway towards Brașov. Exit at the DN1 road towards Bușteni. Continue driving on DN1 until you reach Bușteni. Once in Bușteni, look for the signs indicating the direction to Valea Urlătorii. It's about a 20-minute drive from the center of Bușteni to the starting point of the hiking trail. There is no parking directly at Valea Urlătorii, so you will need to park in designated areas in Bușteni and walk to the hiking trail.

Public Transportation

To reach Valea Urlătorii via public transportation, take a train from Bucharest to Bușteni. The train journey takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at Bușteni train station, exit the station and head towards the main street (DN1). From there, you can either walk (about 30 minutes) or take a local bus towards the Valea Urlătorii area. Buses are typically available every half hour. Make sure to check the local bus schedule upon arrival.

Hiking

After reaching Bușteni, you can hike to Valea Urlătorii. From the center of Bușteni, follow the signs to the hiking trail. The trail is well-marked and takes about 1 to 1.5 hours to reach Valea Urlătorii from the center of town. Ensure you have proper hiking shoes and sufficient water. The trail can be steep and rocky in some sections.
