Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Sinaia. Drive along Aleea Bucegi, heading towards the Bucegi Mountains. The road will lead you towards the cable car station (Telecabina Sinaia), which is the base for reaching higher altitudes in the mountains. Parking is available near the cable car station, but ensure you check for any parking fees that may apply. From the cable car station, you can take the cable car to the upper station (Babele) and begin your hike towards Vf Doamnele.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Vf Doamnele using public transportation, take a train to Sinaia from major cities like Bucharest. Upon arrival at the Sinaia train station, you can either take a taxi or walk to Aleea Bucegi, which is approximately a 20-minute walk uphill. Alternatively, you can use local buses that may take you closer to the cable car station (Telecabina Sinaia). Once at the cable car station, purchase a ticket for the cable car to Babele, which costs approximately 40 RON for a round trip. From Babele, follow the marked hiking trails to reach Vf Doamnele.

• Hiking

  Once you are at the Babele cable car station, you will need to hike to Vf Doamnele. Follow the marked trails from Babele; the path is well signposted and typically takes around 1 to 1.5 hours to reach Vf Doamnele, depending on your pace. Be sure to wear appropriate hiking gear and carry water and snacks. The trail offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains, making it a rewarding hike.
