Car
If you are driving, start from the town of Bușteni. Head towards the main road (DN1) and follow the signs for the Bucegi Mountains. After about 2 km, you will reach the entrance to the Bucegi Natural Park. Continue on the main road until you find the signs for the Peștera (Cave) area. Park your car in the designated parking area near the entrance of the Peștera, which is well marked. From there, you can start your hike towards the Sphinx, approximately a 1-2 hour trek depending on your pace.

For those using public transportation, take a train to Bușteni from Bucharest or Brașov. Once you arrive at Bușteni station, exit the station and look for the local buses or taxis that will take you to the Peștera area. The bus ride is approximately 10-15 minutes. Alternatively, you can walk to the Peștera entrance from the train station, which is about a 30-minute walk. Once at the Peștera, park or drop off your bags and begin your hike towards the Sphinx.
