The Mound: A Serene Green Oasis in Bucharest

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in Cismigiu Park, head towards the main entrance located at the intersection of Bulevardul Regina Elisabeta and Strada Cismigiu. From there, walk straight along the pathway leading into the park. Keep walking until you reach the central area of the park, where you will see a large green mound with trees surrounding it. The Mound is quite visible and is a popular spot, so you should easily be able to spot it.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  From Cismigiu Park, if you're looking to explore further and want to take the bus, you can walk to the nearest bus stop called 'Cismigiu' located on Bulevardul Regina Elisabeta. Here, you can catch bus number 178. Take it for two stops and get off at 'Piața Universității'. From there, it is a short 10-minute walk to The Mound. Just follow the signs towards the nearby park areas.

• Public Transport (Tram)

  Alternatively, from Cismigiu Park, walk to the nearest tram stop named 'Cismigiu' on Bulevardul Regina Elisabeta. You can board tram number 1 or 10. Ride for three stops and disembark at 'Piața Victoriei'. From there, head south on Calea Victoriei, then take a left on Strada George Enescu, and continue straight until you reach The Mound.
