Walking
From Cismigiu Park, head east towards Bdul Regina Elisabeta. Turn right onto Bdul Regina Elisabeta and walk straight for about 10 minutes. You will pass the Romanian National Theatre on your left. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Bdul Libertății. The Citadel will be on your right; look for the distinctive architecture.

Public Transport - Tram
Walk to the nearest tram stop, which is 'Cismigiu' on Bdul. Schitu Magureanu. Take tram number 5 towards 'Piața Iancului' and get off at the stop 'Podul Izvor'. From there, The Citadel is about a 5-minute walk. Head north on Str. Izvor towards Bdul Libertății, and you will see The Citadel ahead. A single tram ticket costs 3 RON, which you can purchase from the ticket machines at the tram stop.

Walk to the nearest metro station, which is 'Izvor' on the M2 line. Take the metro towards 'Berceni' and get off at the next stop, 'Grozavesti'.
