From the main entry point of Buila-Vanturarita National Park, head towards DJ646 road. Follow DJ646 for approximately 15 kilometers. The road will lead you directly to Peștera Ursilor. Look for signs indicating the cave entrance. Parking is available near the entrance, but be aware that there may be a small fee for parking, typically around 5 RON.

If you are using public transportation, take a bus from the nearest city, such as Râmnicu Vâlcea, to the town of Băile Olănești. From Băile Olănești, you can find local taxis or shared minivans that will take you to the entrance of Buila-Vanturarita National Park. The fare for the taxi or minivan is usually around 30-50 RON. Once at the park entrance, follow the directions for hiking to Peștera Ursilor, which is approximately a 30-minute walk from the entrance.

For those already within Buila-Vanturarita National Park, you can hike to Peștera Ursilor. Start at the main visitor center and follow the marked trails towards the cave. The hike is approximately 2 kilometers and should take around 30-45 minutes depending on your pace. Ensure you have appropriate hiking shoes and water with you.
