    Car

    If you are traveling by car, start from the city center of Vâlcea. Head southeast on Strada Calea lui Traian towards Strada Nicolae Bălcescu. Continue straight to merge onto DN7 (E81) and follow the signs to Râmnicu Vâlcea. After about 8 km, take the exit towards DN67C. Continue on DN67C for approximately 30 km, passing through the towns of Horezu and Băile Olănești. Once you reach Horezu, follow the signs to the Monastery of Hurezi. The monastery is located at 52F5+87, Strada Mânăstirii, Romanii de Jos 245803. Parking is available near the site.

    Public Transportation

    To reach the Monastery of Hurezi using public transportation, take a bus from Râmnicu Vâlcea to Horezu. Buses typically depart from the central bus station in Râmnicu Vâlcea and run several times a day. The journey takes about 1 hour. Once in Horezu, you can either walk to the monastery, which is about 4 km away (approximately a 50-minute walk), or take a local taxi. Taxi fares may vary, but you can expect to pay around 20-30 RON for the short trip to the monastery.
