If you are traveling by car, start from the city center of Caransebeș. Head south on DN6 towards Mehadia. After approximately 25 km, you will arrive in Mehadia. Follow the main road (DN6) until you reach the intersection with DJ582. Turn right onto DJ582 and continue for about 3 km. Look for signs indicating Râpa Neagră. There is a parking area available near the entrance to the site, and parking is typically free.

To reach Râpa Neagră using public transportation, you can take a train or bus from Caransebeș to Mehadia. Trains to Mehadia run regularly from Caransebeș train station; check the schedule for exact times, but the journey usually takes around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Mehadia train station, you can catch a local bus or taxi to reach Râpa Neagră. If taking a taxi, it should cost around 20-30 RON.
