From the town of Sibiu, take DN1 towards Brașov, then merge onto DN7C towards Bâlea Lac. Drive along this scenic route until you reach the Bâlea Waterfall area. Park your car at the designated parking area near the waterfall (note that parking might incur a small fee, usually around 5 RON). From the parking area, follow the hiking trail towards Acul Lespezi, which is approximately a 3-hour hike. Make sure to wear appropriate hiking gear.

For those using public transportation, take a bus from Sibiu to Bâlea Lac. Check the local bus schedule, as service may be limited, especially during the off-peak season. Once you arrive at Bâlea Lac, you will need to walk to the Bâlea Waterfall area, which is about a 30-minute walk. From there, you can access the hiking trails leading to Acul Lespezi, which will take roughly 3 hours. Ensure you have appropriate footwear and supplies for hiking.
