If you are traveling by car, start from the city of Târgu Jiu. Head south on DN67 towards the town of Rovinari. Continue on DN67 for about 20 km, then merge onto DJ664 towards Vulcan. Drive approximately 15 km on DJ664 until you reach the sign for Cascada de la Trecatoarea Lupilor. There is a small parking area nearby where you can leave your car.

Once you arrive in Vulcan, you will need to take a taxi or local minibus to reach DJ664, which is the road leading to the waterfall. After being dropped off, follow the signs to the waterfall, which is a short walk from where you are dropped off.
