If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Târgu Jiu. Head southeast on Strada 9 Mai towards Calea Eroilor. Continue on Calea Eroilor, then take a left onto Strada Victoriei. Follow the road until you reach the intersection with Strada 1 Decembrie 1918. Turn right and continue straight for approximately 1.5 km. You will see Vechiul Pod on your right, a well-preserved metallic bridge situated along the river.

Public Transportation
To reach Vechiul Pod using public transportation, take a local bus from Târgu Jiu's main bus station. Look for buses heading towards the area of Strada 1 Decembrie 1918. The fare is approximately 2 RON. Get off at the stop closest to Strada 1 Decembrie 1918, then walk approximately 500 meters to reach Vechiul Pod. The bridge will be visible from the road.

If you are already in Târgu Jiu and prefer to walk, head towards Calea Eroilor from the city center. Walk along this road until you reach Strada 1 Decembrie 1918, then turn right. Continue walking along this street for about 1.5 km. Vechiul Pod will be on your right. This walk takes approximately 20-25 minutes.
