From the center of Harghita, take DN12 towards Gheorgheni. Follow this road for approximately 30 kilometers. Once you reach Gheorgheni, continue on DN12, following signs towards Borsec for about 20 kilometers. You will see signs directing you to Borsec as you approach. The drive should take around 50 minutes in total, depending on traffic conditions.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, start at the Harghita center bus station. Look for buses heading to Gheorgheni, which run frequently. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Once in Gheorgheni, transfer to a local bus that goes to Borsec. This bus service may not run as frequently, so check the schedule in advance.
