Continue on DN12 for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the town of Lăzarea. Once in Lăzarea, follow the signs for 'Castelul Lázár'. The castle is located just outside the town center at the coordinates 46.7491° N, 25.5305° E. There is parking available near the castle.

To reach Castelul Lázár using public transportation, take a bus from Harghita to Lăzarea. Check local bus schedules as they may vary, but there are usually daily departures. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Lăzarea bus station, you can either walk to the castle, which is approximately 2 kilometers away, or take a local taxi for about 10-15 lei. If you choose to walk, head east on Strada Principală and follow the signs leading you to the castle.
