    Getting There

    Car

    From the center of Hunedoara, head northwest on Strada 1 Decembrie 1918 towards DN66. Continue on DN66 for about 17 km towards Hațeg. Once you reach Hațeg, take the exit for Strada Progresului. Follow Strada Progresului for about 1 km, and you will find the Bison Nature Reserve on your left. There is parking available at the reserve.

    Public Transportation

    From the Hunedoara train station, take a train to Hațeg. The train journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Hațeg station, you can take a taxi or a local bus towards Strada Progresului. The taxi ride will take about 10 minutes and cost around 20-30 RON. The bus may take longer, approximately 20-30 minutes, and may cost around 5 RON.
