Car
From Hunedoara, take DN66 (E68) heading towards Deva. Continue on DN66 for approximately 15 km until you reach the village of Mada. After entering Mada, turn onto DC28 road. Follow DC28 for about 3 km until you see the entrance to Cheile Madei on your right. There are no entrance fees for the natural park.
Public Transportation (Bus)
From the center of Hunedoara, head to the local bus station. Take a bus heading towards Mada; check the local timetable as these services may vary. The journey should take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Mada, walk approximately 3 km along DC28 road towards Cheile Madei. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes as the path may be rugged.
Walking from Mada
If you arrive in Mada via bus, after disembarking, follow DC28 road towards Cheile Madei. The distance is about 3 km, and it is a scenic walk. Be cautious of traffic along the road, and enjoy the surrounding natural beauty. This walk may take around 30-40 minutes.
