Car
If you are driving from the center of Hunedoara, head southwest on Bulevardul 1 Decembrie 1918 towards Strada Libertății. Continue straight onto DJ687, following signs for Deva. After approximately 10 km, take the exit towards DN68. Merge onto DN68 and continue for about 7 km. You will see signs for Sarmizegetusa. Turn left onto DN68 towards Sarmizegetusa. The archaeological site will be on your right.

Public Transportation
To reach Sarmizegetusa Ulpia Traiana by public transport, start at the Hunedoara bus station located on Strada 1 Decembrie 1918. Take a bus headed towards Deva, and ask the driver to drop you off at the stop for Sarmizegetusa. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. From the bus stop, it is a short walk (approximately 1.5 km) to the archaeological site. Follow the road signs, and head towards DN68; the site will be on your left.
