Be prepared for possible parking fees, which can range from 5 to 10 RON.

To reach Cetatea Făgărașului via public transportation, find a bus station in your area that services routes to Făgăraș. Buses from larger cities like Brașov or Sibiu frequently travel to Făgăraș. The bus fare is approximately 15-30 RON depending on the distance. Once you arrive at the Făgăraș bus station, it is about a 10-minute walk to the fortress. Head northwest on Strada 1 Decembrie 1918, take a left onto Strada Mihai Viteazul, and you will find the fortress.
