Getting there

Car

If you're driving from Chișinău, head north on the M2 highway towards Soroca. The journey takes approximately 2.5 hours (around 150 km). Upon arriving in Soroca, follow the signs for the city center. The fortress is located at Independentei 78, MD-3000, Soroca. You can park near the fortress, but be aware of parking regulations.

Bus

From Chișinău, you can take a bus to Soroca. Buses leave from the central bus station (Autogara Nord) and the journey takes about 2.5 to 3 hours. Look for buses heading towards Soroca; tickets cost around 50 MDL. Once you arrive at the Soroca bus station, you can either walk (about 20 minutes) to the fortress or take a local taxi for about 30 MDL.

Taxi

If you prefer a more comfortable ride, consider taking a taxi from Chișinău to Soroca. This option is more expensive, with fares typically ranging between 800-1000 MDL depending on negotiation. The taxi will take you directly to the fortress, saving you time and effort.

Local Transportation
