    If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Ploiești, the main city in Prahova County. Take DN1 towards the north until you reach the town of Bușteni. From Bușteni, follow the DJ713 road towards the direction of the Bucegi Mountains. After approximately 10 kilometers, you will reach the intersection with DJ714. Turn left onto DJ714 and continue for about 5 kilometers. Transbucegi is located along this road in Glod. Make sure to keep an eye out for signs directing you to Transbucegi.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Transbucegi via public transportation, you will need to take a train or bus from Ploiești to Bușteni. Trains to Bușteni are frequent, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once in Bușteni, you can catch a local bus that goes towards the Bucegi Mountains or find a taxi that can take you directly to DJ714. This part of your journey will cost approximately 10-20 RON for the train and around 15-30 RON for the bus/taxi. After arriving at DJ714, you will need to walk approximately 1 kilometer to reach Transbucegi.
