Start your journey at the Râmnicu Vâlcea Railway Station (Gara Râmnicu Vâlcea). Exit the station and head southwest on Strada 1 Mai. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Strada Anton Pann. Turn left onto Strada Anton Pann, and walk until you reach the intersection with Bulevardul Nicolae Balcescu. Here, turn right and continue walking along the boulevard. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will arrive at a park area. Continue through this park, following the pathways until you see signs directing you towards Bazinul de apa. The hiking area is located in the wooded section of the park, and you will find paths leading you there.

From the center of Râmnicu Vâlcea, head to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Bulevardul Nicolae Balcescu. Take bus number 2 or 5 towards the direction of Călimănești. After approximately 10 minutes, disembark at the stop named 'Mănăstirea Ostrov.' From there, follow the signs for Bazinul de apa, which is a short walk away through the forested area. Look for trails leading towards the water basin.
