Car
If you are traveling by car from the center of Ranca Resort, start by heading southeast on the main road, DJ664. Continue on this road for approximately 10 kilometers. You will pass through beautiful mountainous scenery. Look for signs indicating the direction to Transfăgărășan. Once you reach the intersection with Transfăgărășan (DN7C), turn left. Continue for about 15 kilometers until you reach Arefu. Spell Hotels will be located on Transfăgărășan road, and should be easily visible.
Public Transportation
To reach Spell Hotels using public transport, start by taking a local bus from Ranca Resort to the nearest city with bus connections, which is Novaci. From Novaci, you can catch a bus that goes towards Arefu or the Transfăgărășan area. Ensure to check the bus schedule in advance as services may vary. Once you arrive in Arefu, you can either walk approximately 2 kilometers to Spell Hotels or take a taxi if available. The taxi fare should be around 10-15 RON.
Taxi
If you prefer a direct route, you can hire a taxi from Ranca Resort. Make sure to agree on a price beforehand, as taxis may not have meters. The cost should be around 50-70 RON for a one-way trip, depending on the negotiation and time of day. The taxi will take you directly to Spell Hotels located on Transfăgărășan in Arefu.
