If you are traveling by car, head towards NR1 in Butare. From central Bugesera, take the main road heading south towards Butare. After approximately 45 kilometers, you will reach Butare. Once in Butare, follow the signs for the Ethnographic Museum, which is located on NR1. The museum is situated on the left side of the road as you approach the town center. Parking is available near the museum.
