Walking
Starting from the Butare Cathedral, head north on Avenue de l'Indépendance. Continue straight for approximately 1.2 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Rue du Commerce. Turn left onto Rue du Commerce. After about 400 meters, you will see a sign for Ngoma Genocide Memorial on your right. Follow the sign, and after a short walk of about 300 meters, you will arrive at the memorial.

Begin your journey at the Butare Market. From the market, head east on Avenue de l'Indépendance. Continue for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Rue du Commerce.
