Walking
Starting from the Butare Cathedral, head north on Avenue de l'Indépendance. Continue straight for approximately 1.2 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Rue du Commerce. Turn left onto Rue du Commerce. After about 400 meters, you will see a sign for Ngoma Genocide Memorial on your right. Follow the sign, and after a short walk of about 300 meters, you will arrive at the memorial.

Begin your journey at the Butare Market. From the market, head east on Avenue de l'Indépendance. Continue for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Rue du Commerce. Turn right onto Rue du Commerce and cycle for another 500 meters. Look for the Ngoma Genocide Memorial sign on your right. Follow the path indicated by the sign, and you will reach the memorial in approximately 5 minutes.
Motorcycle Taxi (Moto)
If you are at the Butare Bus Station, you can take a motorcycle taxi. Inform the driver that you want to go to Ngoma Genocide Memorial. The ride will take around 10 minutes. The driver will take you along Avenue de l'Indépendance, through the town center, and then to the memorial site. Make sure to confirm the exact location with the driver if necessary.
