Starting from the center of Butare (also known as Huye), head south on Avenue de la Révolution. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Avenue du 1er Novembre. Cross the intersection and continue onto Avenue de l'Université. After approximately 500 meters, you will see signs indicating the direction to Nyanza. Follow these signs as the road will start to curve towards the right. Continue for another 2 kilometers until you arrive at the Nyanza Genocide Memorial, which will be located on your left.
