If you are driving, start from the center of Byumba town. Head north on the main road (Route Nationale 3) towards Kibali. After approximately 5 km, you will see the sign for Byumba Cathedral on your right. Turn onto the side road (C3G4+M7P) and follow it for about 1 km until you reach the cathedral, which will be on your left. There is limited parking available near the entrance.

Public Transportation (Taxi or Moto)
For those using public transportation, find a local taxi or motorcycle taxi (moto) in Byumba town. Inform the driver that you would like to go to Byumba Cathedral, located in Kibali. It is a common destination, so most drivers will be familiar with it. The fare should be around 1,000 RWF for a taxi or 500 RWF for a moto. The journey will take approximately 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.

Walking
If you are already near the center of Byumba and prefer to walk, you can take a scenic route. Head north on the main road (Route Nationale 3) until you reach the fork. Take the left fork towards Kibali. Continue walking for about 5 km. After you pass the local market, look for signs directing you to Byumba Cathedral. It will be on your left once you reach the C3G4+M7P area. This walk will take around 1 hour, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes.
