If you are driving, start from the center of Byumba. Head south on the main road towards Kigali. After approximately 50 kilometers, you will reach Kigali city. Continue driving until you reach KN 90 St. The Kandt House Museum is located at KN 90 St, Kigali. Look for parking available near the museum entrance.

From Byumba, take a bus heading to Kigali. Buses frequently depart from the Byumba bus station. The journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Kigali, you can take a moto-taxi or walk to KN 90 St. The Kandt House Museum is within walking distance from the main bus terminal, approximately 2 kilometers away. If taking a moto-taxi, ensure you tell the driver you are going to Kandt House Museum.
