To reach IGIHE from Byumba by car, start by heading southwest on the main road (RN 4) towards Kigali. Continue on this road for approximately 60 kilometers. As you approach Kigali, follow the signs to the city center. Once in the city, look for KN 2 Ave. IGIHE is located in the Mic Building at this address. Parking is available nearby, but be aware of any parking fees that may apply.

If you prefer public transportation, you can take a bus from Byumba to Kigali. Buses leave regularly from the Byumba bus station. The journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, and the fare is typically around 1,500 RWF. Once in Kigali, you can take a moto-taxi or a local taxi to reach IGIHE. Make sure to tell the driver to take you to Mic Building on KN 2 Ave. The moto-taxi fare should be around 1,000 RWF to 2,000 RWF depending on traffic.
