From Cyangugu, head northwest on the main road (RN 1) towards Kibuye. Follow the road for approximately 30 kilometers. As you approach Kibuye, look for the signs directing you to Mukondwe. Turn right onto the road leading towards Mukondwe, which is approximately 5 kilometers from the main road. The destination is located at coordinates -2.0471744, 29.334797, which you can enter into a GPS device or map application to ensure accurate navigation.

Public Transportation

In Cyangugu, find the bus station where local buses to Kibuye depart. Purchase a ticket for Kibuye, which typically costs around 1,500 Rwandan Francs. The bus ride will take about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Kibuye, you can take a moto-taxi or walk to Mukondwe. If you choose to walk, head northeast from the bus station and follow signs to Mukondwe, which is about 5 kilometers away. Hiring a moto-taxi may cost around 1,000 to 2,000 Rwandan Francs depending on negotiation.

For a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Cyangugu to Mukondwe. This option is more expensive, costing around 15,000 to 20,000 Rwandan Francs for a one-way trip.
