If you're traveling by car from the center of Cyangugu, start by heading east on Avenue de la Révolution. After about 500 meters, turn left onto the road leading towards Gisakura. Continue on this road for approximately 10 kilometers. As you approach Gisakura, look for signs directing you to Chimpanzee Lodge, which is located off the main road. You will find the lodge at coordinates -2.4394049, 29.0919371. Parking is available on-site.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, head to the local bus station in Cyangugu. Look for a bus heading to Gisakura; these are usually marked with signs. The fare should be around 500 Rwandan Francs. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes.
