Car
If you are driving, head to Kayonza District. From the center of Kayonza, take the Akagera Road towards Akagera National Park. Follow the road for approximately 10 kilometers. You will see signs for Akagera National Park. Keep an eye out for the entrance to the park on your left. After entering the park, continue for another 5 kilometers until you reach Ruzizi Tented Lodge, which will be clearly marked.

To reach Ruzizi Tented Lodge via public transport, you can start at the main bus station in Kigali. Board a bus heading to Kayonza, which typically costs around 1,500 Rwandan Francs. Once you arrive in Kayonza, take a moto-taxi (motorcycle taxi) to Akagera National Park. The ride should cost you about 3,000 Rwandan Francs. Inform the driver that you want to go to Ruzizi Tented Lodge. The ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes.
