Car
If you are driving from Gikongoro, head south on the main road (Route NR1) towards Nyanza. Continue for approximately 12 kilometers. As you approach Nyanza, look for the exit to the right towards Unnamed Road. Follow this road for about 2 kilometers, and you will find Mwima Mausoleum on your left. There is parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach Mwima Mausoleum using public transportation, first take a moto-taxi or a bus from Gikongoro to Nyanza. The bus station is located in the center of Gikongoro. Once you arrive in Nyanza, you can hire a moto-taxi to take you directly to Mwima Mausoleum, which is about 2 kilometers away from the bus station. Be sure to negotiate the fare before starting your ride.
Walking
If you prefer walking and are already in Nyanza, from the town center, head south towards the main road (Route NR1). Once you reach the main road, turn left and walk for about 1 kilometer until you see the exit for Unnamed Road. Turn right onto Unnamed Road and continue walking for another 2 kilometers. Mwima Mausoleum will be on your left.
