Walking
From the center of Gisenyi, head east towards Avenue de la République. Walk along this main road until you reach the intersection near the Gisenyi Market. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Route de Nyanza. Follow this road as it winds through the area. After about 2 km, you will see signs for Mwima Mausoleum. Keep an eye out for the JPVP+M7Q coordinates and look for the Unnamed Road on your right. Turn right and continue on this road, which will lead you directly to the mausoleum.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle in Gisenyi. Start from the town center and head towards Avenue de la République. Cycle along this main road until you reach the junction near Gisenyi Market. Continue straight ahead to the roundabout and take the second exit onto Route de Nyanza. After approximately 2 km, look for the signs indicating Mwima Mausoleum. When you see the JPVP+M7Q coordinates, turn onto the Unnamed Road on your right, which will take you to the mausoleum.

Motorcycle Taxi (Moto)
To get to Mwima Mausoleum quickly, consider taking a motorcycle taxi. From anywhere in Gisenyi, you can ask a local to help you find a moto driver. Tell the driver you want to go to Mwima Mausoleum and provide them with the coordinates JPVP+M7Q. The driver will navigate through Gisenyi, taking you along Route de Nyanza. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes, and the driver will drop you off as close to the mausoleum as possible on the Unnamed Road.
