From Gitarama city center, head southeast on Avenue de la Réunion towards Rue de l'Unité. Continue straight for about 1.5 km until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the RN1 road. Follow this road for approximately 10 km. You will see signs directing you to Ntarama Genocide Memorial as you approach Kayumba. Turn left onto the V3P2+W2C road. The memorial will be on your left after about 2 km. Parking is available near the entrance.

From Gitarama, take a bus heading to Kayumba. The bus station is located near the city center. Once you board, inform the driver you want to get off at Ntarama. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. After disembarking, walk about 1.5 km following signs to the Ntarama Genocide Memorial, which will be on your right. The bus fare is typically around 500 RWF.
