Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the center of Karongi, head north on Avenue de la Révolution until you reach the main road (Route Nationale 4). Turn left and continue walking for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with the road leading to Ruragwe. Take the right onto this road and follow it for approximately 3 kilometers. You will pass through local small shops and houses. Keep an eye out for directional signs pointing towards Ruragwe. When you reach Ruragwe, look for the local TVET center; the KOPAKAKIDUTEGURE Coffee Farmers Cooperative is located just a short walk from there, at TVET, 3a, Ruragwe.

  • Bicycle

    Starting from Karongi town, rent a bicycle and head north on Avenue de la Révolution. Once you reach Route Nationale 4, take a left. Continue for about 1 kilometer until you see the turnoff for Ruragwe on your right. This road is slightly uphill; be cautious of the traffic. Follow the road for around 3 kilometers, enjoying the beautiful scenery. Once you reach Ruragwe, look for the TVET center, and the KOPAKAKIDUTEGURE Coffee Farmers Cooperative will be a short distance away, at TVET, 3a, Ruragwe.

    From the center of Karongi, find a motorbike taxi (commonly known as 'moto'). Tell the driver you want to go to the KOPAKAKIDUTEGURE Coffee Farmers Cooperative located at TVET, 3a, Ruragwe.
