Getting There

Walking
From the center of Karongi, head towards the Kivu Lake waterfront. Follow the path along the lakeshore until you reach the main road. Continue walking along this road, enjoying the scenic views of the lake. After about 1 kilometer, you will come to a junction. Take the left fork, which leads towards Kibuye. Keep walking straight for another 1.5 kilometers until you see a sign for Kivu Dusk Safaris on your right. The location should be visible from the road.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from the main market area in Karongi. Cycle towards the lakeshore and follow the lakeside path until you hit the main road. Turn left onto the main road and continue cycling for about 1.5 kilometers. When you reach the junction, keep right towards Kibuye. After cycling for another kilometer, look for the signs directing you to Kivu Dusk Safaris on your right side.

From your accommodation or any location in Karongi, you can hire a moto-taxi (motorcycle taxi). Simply inform your driver that you want to go to Kivu Dusk Safaris in Kibuye. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. The drivers are familiar with the area and will drop you off directly at the location.
