Start from the center of Karongi town, near the main market. Head east on Avenue du Lac toward the main road. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the main bus stop. From there, look for a local moto-taxi (motorcycle taxi) stand, which is a popular way to travel. Take a moto-taxi heading to Kigali. The driver should know the route to the Kigali Genocide Memorial. The ride will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours depending on traffic.
