Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Kigali. Head northeast on KN 1 Ave towards KN 3 Ave. Continue straight for approximately 2.5 kilometers. When you reach the intersection with KN 3 Ave, turn left. The Belgian Peacekeepers Memorial will be on your right after about 500 meters. There is parking available near the memorial.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  To reach the Belgian Peacekeepers Memorial using public transportation, you can take a local bus heading towards Nyabugogo. Board the bus at any major bus station in Kigali. Inform the conductor that you want to get off at the 'Kigali Convention Centre' stop. From there, you can catch a moto-taxi (motorcycle taxi) to take you directly to the memorial. The moto-ride should cost around 1,000 RWF. The memorial is located at KN 3 Ave, which is approximately 3 kilometers away from the bus stop.

• Walking

  If you are nearby and prefer to walk, start from the Kigali Convention Centre. Head east on KN 5 Rd and continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with KN 3 Ave. Turn right onto KN 3 Ave and walk for another 500 meters, and you will find the Belgian Peacekeepers Memorial on your left.

• Taxi

  For a more direct and comfortable option, you can hire a taxi from any location in Kigali. Simply provide the driver with the address 'KN 3 Ave, Kigali'. The fare will vary depending on your starting point but expect to pay between 3,000 to 5,000 RWF for a ride from central Kigali. Taxis in Kigali are generally safe, and this option is ideal for those unfamiliar with the area.
