Getting There

Car
From Kibungo town, head southwest on the Nyanza-Kibungo road (also known as the RN3). Continue driving for approximately 25 kilometers. You will pass through scenic countryside and small villages. Look for signs indicating Bugesera district as you approach the area. Once you reach the Bugesera district, continue until you see a turnoff for Ngeruka sector. Turn right at the sign for Ngeruka. The Cyohoha camping site is located in Shami cell, about 5 kilometers down this road on your left. Look for a sign indicating the camping site.

From Kibungo, take a shared taxi or bus heading towards Bugesera district. These vehicles often depart from the main taxi park in Kibungo. The fare is typically around 1,000 Rwandan Francs. Inform the driver that you are heading to Ngeruka sector. Once you arrive in Ngeruka, you will need to find a motorcycle taxi (often referred to as 'moto') to take you to Shami cell. The moto fare should be around 500-1,000 Rwandan Francs. The Cyohoha camping site is just a short ride from the main road in Shami cell.
