Car
From Kibungo, head west on the main road towards Kigali. Follow the signs for Kigali, passing through the towns of Ngoma and Rwamagana. As you approach the outskirts of Kigali, continue straight until you reach the Gikondo area. From Gikondo, take the road towards Shyorongi. Follow the signs to the viewing point, which is located at coordinates 329G+C8, Gatare, Kigali. The entire journey will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, depending on traffic.
Public Transportation (Matatu)
From Kibungo, take a matatu (shared taxi) heading to Kigali. These can be found at the Kibungo bus station. Once you arrive in Kigali, you can take another matatu going towards Shyorongi. Make sure to inform the driver of your destination. The total cost for the journey should be around 1,500 RWF for the Kibungo to Kigali leg and another 500 RWF for the Kigali to Shyorongi leg. The entire trip could take anywhere from 2 to 3 hours, depending on waiting times and traffic.
Private Hire (Taxi)
For a more comfortable and direct route, consider hiring a taxi from Kibungo to Kigali view from Shyorongi. You can negotiate a fare with the driver, which will generally cost between 20,000 to 30,000 RWF for the one-way trip. The journey will take about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
