    Car

    If you are traveling by car from the center of Kibungo, head southwest on the main road (RN 1) towards Kigali. After approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes of driving, you will reach Kigali City. Once you arrive in Kigali, follow the signs to the city center and take the exit toward KN 90 St. Continue straight on KN 90 St for about 2 kilometers. The Kandt House Museum will be on your left. Parking is available nearby, but ensure you check for any parking fees.

    Public Transportation

    For public transportation, you can take a bus from Kibungo to Kigali. Buses frequently depart from the Kibungo bus station. The journey usually takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the main bus station in Kigali, you can take a moto-taxi (motorcycle taxi) or a taxi to KN 90 St. Instruct the driver to take you to Kandt House Museum. The moto-taxi fare should be around 1,500 RWF, while a taxi may cost around 3,000 RWF depending on your negotiation skills.

    Walking from Kigali

    If you find yourself in the Kigali city center and prefer to walk to the Kandt House Museum, start from the Kigali City Market. Head towards Avenue de la Paix and continue straight until you reach KN 90 St. Turn left and walk for about 15 minutes. The museum will be on your left side. This walk offers a chance to explore the local area, but be cautious of traffic and always use designated crosswalks.
