Walking
From the Kibuye bus station, head east on Avenue de la Paix. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the junction with Avenue de l'Indépendance. Turn left onto Avenue de l'Indépendance and walk for another 500 meters until you see the sign for Mukondwe. Follow the path that leads downhill towards the lake, and you will eventually reach Mukondwe, marked by its scenic views.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Kibuye. Start at the Kibuye waterfront and ride along the lakeshore road heading east. After approximately 2 km, take the fork to the right that leads towards Mukondwe. This path will take you through some beautiful landscapes and local villages. Continue biking for about 1 km until you reach Mukondwe, where you can park your bicycle safely.

From the main Kibuye harbor, you can hire a local boat to take you to Mukondwe. Approach one of the boat operators and negotiate a fare. The boat ride will take you directly across the lake and will provide a unique perspective of the area. Once you arrive at Mukondwe's designated landing spot, you can disembark and explore the surroundings.
