Car
If you are driving, start your journey from the center of Kigali. Use the main road known as Avenue de la Révolution and head towards Kimihurura. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with KG 14 Ave. Turn right onto KG 14 Ave. Continue for about 1 km, and the Kigali Genocide Memorial will be on your left side. There is parking available on-site but may incur a small fee, typically around 1,000 RWF.
Public Transportation - Bus
To reach the Kigali Genocide Memorial using public transportation, head to a nearby bus station (like Nyabugogo Bus Terminal). Look for a bus heading to the city center or Kimihurura. Once you arrive at the Kimihurura area, you can take a moto-taxi (motorcycle taxi) or walk to KG 14 Ave. The moto-taxi ride will cost approximately 1,000 - 2,000 RWF depending on your negotiation skills. The memorial is about a 5-minute ride from Kimihurura.
Public Transportation - Moto-taxi
If you're already in Kigali and prefer quicker transport, you can hail a moto-taxi from your location. Provide the driver with the address 'KG 14 Ave, Kigali'. The fare for this short trip should be around 1,000 - 3,000 RWF based on distance. Ensure you wear a helmet, which is provided by the driver.
Walking

From central Kigali, head towards Avenue de la Révolution, and then make your way to KG 14 Ave. The memorial is approximately 2 km from the city center, and it might take around 30 minutes on foot.
